Easy to install. No documentation enclosed, so I didn't understand until I phoned tech support that it does not include software for automatic back up. You manually drag and drop files to the back-up disk -- which is OK with me. Support experience was excellent, reached tech support by phone immediately.

This drive is being used to hold the media for our HTP. It is doing a great job for this, lots of space, speed is fine, and since it is USB 2.0, setup consists of plugging it into an outlet and the PC.

What can you say when it does what is promised and ggives you no surprises. This is my 3rd WD external hard drive, each one twice the size of the previous purchase, and this '2 Terry' continues to operate flawlessly.
