The whole package is great - camera, lens, dvd's, bag, cleaning kit, card and reader, etc.... As a first time DSLR user, the camera is very intuitive and forgiving. Priced separately, this package would appear to be well over $100 more. I'm not sure why you wouldn't get this package if you are just starting out. I ended up purchasing another Ultra SD card, a UV filter and a lens cap strap (to keep the lens cap attached to the lens when you take it off). I'm certain at some point I will get a 55-200 lens as well but this one suits me just fine for now. I've taken some of the best pictures I've ever taken with the D3000!

The Nikon Camera arrived within the 7 day period specified. It is an excellant product. Although I have not had time to use it extensively what little I have used it I am impressed with the results. The camera will do more than my ability to use it I am sure. I am looking forward to getting out this spring and taking lots of pictures

Simply a great DSLR camera that is both instructional and easy to operate with a vast variety of features to experiment. The supplemental DVDs are wonderful, & Cameta Camera was a GREAT seller to deal with. Between reading the manual, watching DVDs, friends, and a class I'm about to begin, I am confident that this quality piece of equipment is a perfect camera to begin and grow with.
